Orders & Shipping

We ship to most countries around the world. Worldwide shipping is free when ordering a DUO and/or DRUM.

We do our best to fulfill every order, but sometimes we need to cancel for unexpected reasons. If that happens, we'll give you a full refund right away. We accept credit cards, iDEAL, SOFORT, and Bancontact to make payment easy.

When your item is in stock, we'll ship it within 3 business days using FedEx. Sometimes things like supply issues or shipping delays happen that are out of our hands, but we'll keep you updated.

International Orders

Important for non-EU customers: Your package may have import taxes or customs fees when it arrives – usually around 20% of what you paid. The shipping company will contact you to arrange payment. If you don't pay these fees and the package gets sent back to us, we'll have to deduct those costs from your refund since we get stuck paying them.

Your bank might also charge currency conversion or transaction fees – that's between you and your bank, not something we control.

Cancellations & Returns

Changed your mind? No problem! You have 14 days after delivery to cancel or return your order. Just email us at support@dato.mu and we'll help you out. You'll need to cover return shipping, but we can help you find an affordable option.

If you return something that's more damaged than expected from normal handling, we might need to deduct repair costs from your refund.

Product Availability

If something goes out of stock after you order, we'll email you at support@dato.mu to talk about options – maybe a similar item or a full refund.

Warranty

We stand behind our instruments! Every Dato purchase comes with a 2-year warranty that covers any manufacturing problems during normal use. If something goes wrong, email support@dato.mu with your order number, the serial number (on the product sticker), and tell us what's happening.

Even after warranty expires, we offer affordable repairs to keep your instrument going strong.

Need a VAT reverse charge, wholesale pricing, or want to pay by bank transfer? Just email orders@dato.mu and we'll sort it out.

The Legal Stuff

Our responsibility is limited to what you paid for your product. Dutch law applies to these terms.
